German-American School Manhattan is an international independent Preschool, Kindergarten & Elementary School. GSM is the first German-English dual immersion school in the borough of Manhattan. The Tribeca location is well situated, surrounded by parks and playgrounds and easily accessible by the Chambers Street station (A,C, 2, 3) and City Hall station (R and W). GSM is currently enrolling Preschool starting at 3 years and Elementary School Grades K-5. Students without prior knowledge of German language are encouraged to apply.

GSM Rolling Admissions

I'm bilingual. What's your super power? GSM admits students without knowledge of the German language. You can apply for GSM year-round. Admissions are open for the 24/25 school year (students age 3 through 5th grade).

Summer Camp at GSM

GSM's summer camp schedule is now live!  GSM has partnered with Galli Theater and Deutsche Sprachschule to offer bilingual summer camps bookable in single- or multiple-week packages for July and August. Check out a wide variety of weekly themes that will appeal to young explorers ages 4-12! Registration is open to GSM and non-GSM students.
