Dear GSM Friends & Families,

Welcome back to a new school year! We love that fall is the season for meeting new families, and we’re excited to share the dates for our upcoming admissions events with you. Visiting GSM is a wonderful opportunity to experience our Program of Inquiry in action. We are so proud to share that GSM is an authorized IB PYP World School.

Our Preschool welcomes inquirers as young as 2 years old, and our K–5 program still has a few spots available. We are especially reaching out to families with children ages 2, 3, and 4 who may be ready to join our GSM community.

In New York City’s diverse educational landscape, German-American School Manhattan (GSM) stands out as an accessible option for families across all boroughs and New Jersey. With two campuses in Tribeca, our school – founded in 2018 – has become a top choice for families who value strong academics paired with dual-language immersion (English/German, with Spanish introduced in Grade 3).

GSM’s dedicated and multilingual educators deliver a stimulating Program of Inquiry that aligns with U.S. and German benchmark standards in all core subjects. Our transdisciplinary approach connects social studies, STEAM, and specialty subjects such as music, modern dance, and art – ensuring that learning is meaningful, creative, and engaging.
