Admission Procedure

Request our application form any time. You will be asked to include the birth certificate, report cards of prior schools and a $200 application fee.
Interviews & Playdates
For students grade 1 or higher: Schedule an interview with the child and parent(s)/guardian(s). The application has to be submitted two days prior to the interview. Please request an appointment from the admissions team. Prior knowledge of German is not a pre-requisite for admissions K-2. Students with strong academic records can be admitted without German language into grades 3 and higher.
For students grade K (Kindergarten) or Preschool: (ages 2, 3 & 4): We offer multiple dates for open format playdates for small groups of applicants ages 1-6. The playdates are typically on Tuesday or Friday afternoons at 4PM.
Acceptance
Acceptance letters of preferred admissions are sent out starting December 1st. Families sign the school contract and pay the first installment to reserve a spot (first come first serve).

26/27 School Year Admissions Timetable
For the current school year GSM is offering rolling admissions for our international families.
For the 2026-27 admissions season, our team will be accepting applications in two cycles.
Our Early Admissions Cycle is reserved for siblings of current students and students from one of our partner schools.
For our Regular Admissions Cycle we are accepting applications across all grades. The dates are:
- Application Submission Deadline: March 31st
We are currently accepting applications for
- the 2025/26 school year for GSM Kita Preschool ages 2, 3 & 4 (German immersion)
- the 2025/26 school year for GSM bilingual Kindergarten (age 5)
- the 2025/26 school year for GSM Dual Immersion Elementary School (grades 1-5), interview required

The open format community playdate is returning this upcoming school year! The playdate is for Kids ages 1-6 accompanied by at least one parent.
The play date is a wonderful opportunity for interested families to meet other GSM families and have their kids experience our school first hand. Parents can chat with educators in a casual setting and get unique answers and insights.

Schoolyear 2025/26
Preschool & PreK: $35,500/year
Preschool half day or 3 days/week: $32,500/year
Elementary Grades K-5: $42,500/year
